At Malthouse Costume Hire you will find fantastic, creative, and helpful staff who can help you create the exact look you want. Combine that with over 3000 excellent costume pieces to choose from, all in a multitude of themes and sizes, and you’ll definitely be looking the part!

We design and construct high-quality costumes that you won’t find anywhere else. In fact the majority of our costumes are designed and made onsite in our own workroom. 

You may be thinking “Isn’t that a lot of work? Wouldn’t it be easier if you just bulk dropshipped in pre-made, pre-packaged, disposable costumes, churned out by the thousand?”

Of course it would be. But we aren’t a warehouse. 

We’re costumiers. 

Becoming a character isn’t pulling on a rough felt vest with printed buttons on it, one that will tear as soon as you hit the dance floor, and go straight to landfill at the end of the night.

It’s about detail. It’s about care. It’s about workmanship. And it’s about you looking and feeling your best. 

Currently, we have so many costumes and fancy dress items in stock that it’s impossible to show you all of them here on our website. We’re working on it though!
