Ever imagined having our theatre stage just for your child and their friends to have a one-off, special children’s birthday party?

Canterbury Children’s Theatre are offering the opportunity to host your child’s birthday party with a special point of difference. We have a stunning little theatre based at the Malthouse, 71 Colombo Street and offer a themed party with several options available.

This is a new and exciting concept for the Malthouse and here are some details of what to expect:

Kids Party Package

• Themes available: Fairytale / Unicorn / Mermaid / Woodland / Pirates / Harry Potter
• Party Host – Storyteller extraordinaire, theatre sports aficionado and all round entertainer. Plus, one dressed (as per theme) character.
• Music, dancing, games, party lights and stories. Cake cutting and present opening. Total party time of 1.5 hours.
• Option of face painting for all guests plus something a little special for the birthday guest.
• Option of catering with dietary requirements considered.

Pricing

• Minimum fee (up to 10 children) $300
• Per additional child $15
• Two caregivers required (coffee supplied)
• Catering $12 per child (BYO cake)
• BYO catering fee of $20
• Face painting fee of $150 for two artists
• Non-refundable deposit of $100
