Ever imagined having our theatre stage just for your child and their friends to have a one-off, bespoke children’s birthday party?

Canterbury Children’s Theatre are offering the opportunity to host your child’s birthday party with a special point of difference. We have a stunning little theatre based at the Malthouse, 71 Colombo Street and offer a themed party with several options available.

This is a new and exciting concept for the Malthouse and here are some details of what to expect:

Kids Party Package

• Themes available: Under The Sea / Enchanted Forest / Dragons / Pirates / Harry Potter / Star Wars / Alices Tea Party
• Party Host – Storyteller extraordinaire, silly games aficionado and all round entertainer (dressed character as per theme)
• Music, games and activities. Prizes for all participating guests.
• Total party time of 1.5 hours – includes cake cutting.
• Option of catering with dietary requirements considered.
• We supply cutlery, plates, napkins and cups (as per theme).
• All food (either BYO or catered) is served and cleared by the team.
• Parents/Caregivers are welcome to stay (tea and coffee supplied).
• Maximum size group is 15 children.

Pricing

• Minimum fee (up to 10 children) $350
• Per additional child $15
• Minimum of two caregivers required
• Catering $15 per child (BYO cake)
• BYO catering fee of $40
• Non-refundable deposit of $100
